Sometimes your negative self-talk might be so familiar that you don't even realize it's there. Consequently, you might be giving those self-limiting or criticizing narratives too much credibility and weight.
Shifting this is so important, because those negative voices can unnecessarily keep you hesitant or make you feel ill at ease. This can heartbreakingly arrest both your pursuits and your expression.
I would never want anyone to forsake their worth, beauty and talents. Your value and your uniqueness are so vital in our world
Raphaela Browne and I started this conversation in episodes 57 and 58, when we gently posed the question, "Why are you so hard on yourself?" We discussed ways to identify these limiting beliefs so that you could question the validity of the things that keep you from living freely.
As promised, we are back to discuss some inroads into these places. The first step is identifying the comments. But since it's not usually a one-and-done thing, it can take some devotion and intention to begin to shift away from those unwelcome comments.
Though it is often a process, it is SO worth it!
Not only is it possible to shift away from negative self-talk, but imagine how different your life could be if you weren't bound by them!
Raphaela and I send you our belief and our support. You deserve to live free from these uninvited limitations. They weren't meant for you to base your life on them.
