As it turns out, shame wounds are so relatable - so normal. And underneath the discomfort often lies something so incredibly, if not fiercely, sweet.
And oftentimes, sharing them in safe spaces can disempower the wrongful messaging as well as bond us more deeply in our friendships or relationships.
This episode is a quick add-on to last week's episode. I thought it would be worth it to go just one layer deeper, so that maybe we can all bring some healing to our "shame" wounds.
This process may carry some grief or tap into old memories, so approaching with compassion and reverence would be very important.
My hope is that this episode can allow us to see the sweetness of the human spirit - in ourselves and in each other. And that the normalizing and seeing the sweetness of these wounds can allow us to bring healing and catalyze the freer expression of our lives.
