22: Why Creating Safe Spaces is Vital for Life and Creativity with Cathryn Boult

Cathryn Boult is someone to whom people are "magically" drawn. She is not only an incredibly accomplished magician and artist of many forms, but she also very naturally creates deep bonds of friendship and community wherever she goes.

Today Cat shares her insights about finding and creating safe spaces and how absolutely vital it is for life, relationships, creativity and more.

Safe spaces can sometimes be dismissed too easily as being obviously needed, but in so doing, we may not realize how unsafe we actually were. This could lead to a unexpressed talents, quieted opinions or abandoned passions.

Cat explains how safety, or lack thereof, can ultimately affect the ways in which you express yourself as well as the ways in which you experience your everyday life. 

She embodies tenderness, empowerment, humor, charm, depth and everything in between as she shares how wonderful it is to be an authentic, unfiltered person.

• Born in the UK, immigrated to the USA during early teens and lived in Santa Cruz and Orange County, California until moving to Las Vegas for work at the beginning of 2020 (LOL good timing) 
• Has worked in the entertainment and magic industry for over 10 years, including: 
  • writing and co-directing all the magic tricks for Universal Kids TV show “Junk Drawer Magical Adventures” and four episodes of the DreamworksTV Youtube short format “Junk Drawer Magic” episodes. 
  • Writes and consults on acts that have performed internationally, including at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. 
  • Worked on Shin Lim’s “America’s Got Talent”-winning act 
  • Worked for David Blaine 
• Has a greyhound who just turned 10
• Currently learning Welsh on “DuoLingo” (428 day streak!) and reading the same 4 pages of the book “House of Leaves” over and over again.
