Brooklyn, NY- A 24 year old woman alleges she was raped by a man who gained access to her unlocked apartment door at 10:30am on Saturday, October 14th, 2017. The unknown suspect gained entry to the building near Halsey Street & Central Ave. When the suspect entered the woman''s apartment he found her sleeping in her bed & attacked her. The woman fought him off & the suspect fled. The woman was treated at Woodhull Hospital. Surveillance footage of the suspect was released Tuesday, October 17th, 2017. The footage shows the suspect smoking a cigarette around the time of the attack. He is approximately 5ft. 10in. tall & weighs approximately 180lbs.
