**Major Trigger Warning** - Discussion/accounts of brutal sexual assaults, mutilation, animal cruelty and murder.

Technically the first found footage/mocumentary style horror film to be released, Cannibal Holocaust succumbs to the director's hubris devolving into an exploitative perversion of other cultures, a deranged view of human nature, and extreme animal cruelty.

Consensus: The general idea is intruguing, however this film misses every mark....
