Consensus: All the camp and gore aside, a lot of thought was put into this film. The "no way out" scenario always adds an extra amount of tension to the plot and Wes Craven does it well here. It's got everything you need in a good slasher and it's a fun watch as well.
Highly recommend for the Hallowe'en season and slasher fans alike!
