Consensus: The first quote on quote "self aware" slasher, Wes Craven gives us a modern take on the genre with fun gags, lot's of social and horror commentary and all the things you'd want in a solid slasher/horror film. With one of the most famous death's to start off the film and a slew of sequels that arguably hold up to the original, this is a great pick for fall and the Hallowe'en season.
Highly recommended watch for all!
