Scare-o-meter Ratings:
Tasha - 5.5 skulls
Julia - 6 skulls
Consensus: Although incredibly low budget, this film really was unique and gritty for it's time. The running time is only 1 hour 23 min, but you get your money's worth by the end. Leatherface is an iconic character for a reason and Gunnar Hansen does him justice with his meathod acting and menacing stature. The added cannibalism of this backwoods nightmare certainly helps the atmosphere along.
A must watch for all fans of the Slasher genre!!
