Many athletes compete in the Olympic Games but only a few receive the prize. These are the ones who disciplined themselves the most, trained the hardest and wanted it more than the others. And at the end, they received either the gold, silver or bronze medal.

The Christian life is very similar in that god offers five distinct crowns to those qualify by earning them in their own spiritual walk. And it also takes discipline, training and a desire to win them.
