Jesus is going to tell two parables about the Kingdom of Heaven. One has to do with a treasure and the other a great pearl. The two men in the stories that made these discoveries responded the same way. They sold all they had in order to buy those treasures. The point of the stories is to be willing to forfeit the lower to attain the higher.

How many people in this life are willing to forfeit what they have in order to gain what God offers? That is a question everyone will answer. How about you?
