The funny thing about death is that it will find everyone but most people lie as if it never will. But what is death? It does not mean cessation. It means separation. There is a physical death where the body is separated from the soul and a spiritual death where the soul is separated from God.
We are all born spiritually dead, separated from God. That's why Jesus came, so at the time of our physical death, we would not know that separation.
This message is one worth sharing with someone who does not understand how this works for the Bible says, It is appointed for man to die once, then comes the judgment.
