We all have times of doubt and fear occasionally. Sometimes we can feel guilty for thinking that way. But as we watch Gideon in his own doubt and fear, we will see the Lord meet him right where he is.
The Lord does not condemn him but He brings him along beyond those doubts and fears and turns him into a man who is going forward in faith.
