In this episode we continue with the word Waruc, and learn the 3rd person plural form (they), an alternate form of the declarative suffix (-ną), as well as the future suffix (-kjene)
3rd plural form: -ire (Added to the end of a verb to indicate "They" as the subject)
Declarative suffix: -šąną after consonants;-ną after vowels (often times most of the -ną is omitted, resulting only in an abrupt stop of sound as if the speaker is just beginning to make the ʹnʹ sound)
Future Suffix: -kjene
We also add in a little bonus information this week and delve into the concept of language change, language families, and Hoocąk’s place in the "Siouan Language Family"
