In this episode of the Home Building and Remodeling Show we discuss long term success and one of our project managers discusses how it feels to be a project manager in the home building industry. We dig deep into a discussion on punch lists and the treaded never ending punch list. When doing a home building or remodeling project a punch list, which a list of things at that the owner would like corrected or made better towards the end of the project, is delivered to the contractor to be completed. The original contract should establish guidelines on how this punch list process is going to work and expectations surrounding the final punch list and walk through. We also discuss having to use the stairs instead of taking the elevator to success. You have to build the muscles by taking the stairs and each trip gets a little easier and makes you stronger to build the long-term success.
