In the 1970's and 1980's 4,689 people with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders were infected with HIV and hepatitis viruses through the use of contaminated clotting factors that were supplied by the NHS. In part 1 Sarah educates us on how this shocking event in HIV history unfolded.
