It's the start of the drive back and it's smoky. Smoke from wildfires in California and Oregon have been a persistent problem this whole trip, but today has taken on an apocalyptic feel. Everything is yellow and brown, visibility is maybe a half mile, it feels like driving through Mad Max: Fury Road, but it's just Northeastern Colorado.
