This week, James is joined by Dr. Marc Taub, PhD, Divisional Vice President of Technical Operations for Abbott’s Diabetes Care business. Since joining the global healthcare company in 2004, Dr. Taub has been one of the driving forces behind the development of the FreeStyle Libre system, a sensor-based glucose monitoring solution that gives people the precise data and unique insights needed to better manage their condition. His team are now expanding the application of this biowearable technology to one day be able to translate a wide range of biometrics and offer unprecedented understanding of the impact of diet, exercise and lifestyle, among other factors, on our metabolic health and wellbeing.
