Whitney, DPT, PhD, NCS, ATC, FAPTA received her PhD in motor development/motor learning from the University of Pittsburgh, her professional physical therapy education from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and her DPT from MGH Institute of the Health Sciences. Currently, she is a professor in physical therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. She is the Program Director of the Centers for Rehab Services (CRS) Balance and Vestibular Rehabilitation Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Whitney has authored or co-authored over 120 articles on Medline, most of which relate to vestibular rehabilitation, plus has co-authored a book related to dizziness and balance disorders. She holds a joint appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology and she is a member of the American Physical Therapy Associations Board of Directors. RJ Williams is the COO of FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers, Las Vegas and has been practicing physical therapy since 2013. At the start of his career he was heavily focused in the areas of neurological health, specifically vestibular rehabilitation, but has since expanded his skill set to encompass musculoskeletal and wellness prevention services. RJ guest lectures on the topics of vestibular at several PT and PTA programs as well as serving as adjunct facility at Touro University teaching the concepts of vestibular anatomy, pathology, and neurorehabilitation for dizziness disorders. RJ also serves as the Vice President of the Nevada Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. RJ utilizes his passion for fitness and orthopedics to present a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to the management of vestibular and balance related cases.
