As a Professor in the department, she teaches neuroscience and administration as well as core courses in the PhD program. She has authored two textbooks: Muscle and Sensory Testing and Joint Range of Motion and Muscle Length Testing (with Bandy), both published by Elsevier. Dr. Reese is the treasurer of the American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT), the organization of universities with DPT programs, and represents ACAPT on the Education Leadership Partnership. Her research interest is movement restoration following spinal cord injury and her clinical specialty is adult and pediatric neurological rehabilitation. She was recently named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the APTA.
