In this episode of The Handover, host Erika reflects on the importance of understanding and addressing the unique healthcare needs of those in the LGBTQIA+ community in celebration of PRIDE month. Speaking with Erika in this episode is James O’Hagan, LGBT Champions Training Coordinator with LGBT Ireland.

James gives the listener some personal background as well as an insight into LGBT Ireland, all the while framing the importance of acknowledging and validating the experiences of people in the LGBT community who have to navigate the Irish healthcare system.
