86: Come and Take Them!

At the infamous Gates of Thermopylae in 480 B.C., the Persian king Xerxes, at that time the leader of the largest army the world had ever seen, demanded that the Spartans lay down their weapons and surrender.

The great Spartan warrior and leader, King Leonidas, responded with only two words;

“Molon Labe”

“Come and take them!”
