Dana was inducted into the James Beard Foundation in 2012 for "Who's Who in Food and Beverage in America". Dana hosts Speaking Broadly on The Heritage Radio Network. She is a board member for City Harvest, Hot Bread Kitchen, and Wholesome Wave.
