A BIGGER BOAT: MUNICH, MUNICH & WAR HORSE

MUNICH was to be Spielberg's winter Oscar film to 2005's WAR OF THE WORLD's Jurassic Park-level summer event film. It didn't really work out that way but the one for them/one for me summer/winter dynamic may have worked as well in '05 as any other time Beardo did it, other than Jurassic Park/Schindler's List in '93. He would later refer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull as a sweet reward for filmgoers who endured the "bitter herbs" used in making Munich. Does Spielberg understand metaphor or are actors on his sets literally covered in food?

WAR HORSE has been the punchline to many of Jack's jokes dating back to our Eastwood era. Finally, we made him actually watch it! And? Is it worthy of all his scorn? Did it make him cry? Is he a reborn War Horse truther now???

In a change of pace for this episode, JACK, KEN and ANDI all talk Munich solo before JACK, THOMAS and LEIGH all talk Munich AND THEN this second trio talks Jack's favorite punchline,  WAR HORSE. Everyone wanted to talk Munich this season so the pod abides.
