From 2011, J. Edgar is one of Eastwood's more surprising late-career projects, quite unlike anything else we have seen so far - is that a good thing? Jack and Ken go the heights of a mountainous Nazi fortress to the depths of Hoover's sock drawer in an epic discussion replete with heavily desaturated flashbacks.
