S2 E3 LETTERS FROM DIRTY HARRY
We have been waiting for this match-up for months and the result is our biggest episode yet.
1971's Dirty Harry, directed by Don Donald Siegel is the problematic masterpiece that started an entire genre (maybe two!?!). Curious how its allegedly fascist leanings hold up under 2020 scrutiny? Us too!
Then 2006's Letters From Iwo Jima, the only foreign language film Eastwood has made, a gory account of Japanese soldiers on the titular island's devastating WWII battle. Ken cried in 2006 when he saw it! Does he cry again? It's okay if he does so please don't make fun of his sensitive spirit.
