S1 E7 COOGAN'S CURVE


Trouble With the Curve, from 2012, is NOT directed by Eastwood and neither is Coogan's Bluff from 1968. Coogan is directed by Don Siegel in the first of five classic collabs with Eastwood. Curve is directed by guy we had never heard of (Robert Lorenz) who is undoubtedly a talented individual! After all, he made a movie with Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams! Not too shabby!

Jack and Ken play catch in the yard to discuss both films but it turns out Ken isn't there and feels bad later.

(Coogan's Bluff has zero relation to Cogan's Trade, the 1974 George V, Higgins crime novel which was made into Killing Them Softly in 2012 with Brad Pitt)
