In December 2024, Bitcoin reached an All-Time High (ATH) of $108,268 per unit, marking a growth of over 156% in the year. The whole crypto market capitalization increased by at least 124% in 2024 as well. Most of the best performers during the year were memecoins and Virtual Protocol (VIRTUAL) Virtual Protocol led the crypto pack with a staggering 23,079% gain.
