Buyer's Agent or Real Estate Agent in Portugal - What's the difference?

Back once again in their monthly residency, it's Fabrizio and Ian with a look at the difference between how a buyer's agent and real estate agents operate in Portugal.

Their views are based on their experiences with clients with whom they have been creating new lives and homes in Lisbon.

Their intriguing back story: "In 2017, we were happily living in South London, in a great apartment. We realised that within the next 20 years, we would be retired and neither of us wanted to get old in London," they say. "We started to think of a long term plan for retirement, which would involve a move. We decided to look around and invest in another property so that we at least had a foot on the property ladder. But, with the decision not to stay in London, where?"

Five years on and Fabrizio and Ian are well and truly here. "It has not been easy. There are difficult challenges out there to be faced and things are getting easier," they continue.
