About Lauren Cockerell
Lauren Kwedar Cockerell is founder and president of Kwedar & Co., a Fort Worth-based PR, marketing, and messaging firm focused on helping small business owners take their companies to the next level. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with emphases in marketing, finance, and English Literature from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She started her PR/marketing career with Paige Hendricks Public Relations Inc. as an intern in 2003, where she quickly rose in the ranks and was ultimately promoted to Vice President before departing in 2013 to work as an in-house Director of Public Relations for a local IT company. In 2017, Lauren launched Kwedar PR, LLC, which is now Kwedar & Co.
Lauren is married to Clint Cockerell, and they have two young children. In addition to Kwedar & Co., Lauren is the host of The Impatient Entrepreneur Podcast, and she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth.
