Sammy Fabelman saw his first motion picture in 1952. This was the birth of a love story with film that would last his entire life. Speilberg's latest epic is a love letter to American cinema - how film can create as much as it can obscure, cure broken hearts, create meaning in a world of flux. Fabelman's journey from New Jersey to Arizona, from Northern California to Hollywood, this movie gives us an insight into where it all began for Fabelman... sorry Speilberg!
