It is not time to plant for summer. (I repeat) It is not time to plant for summer. Felder is pushing this message just ahead of one of the most beautiful weekends for Mississippi in a while. The temperature is just right but the soil is still too cold for summer plantings, plus we are due for one more cold snap. Many call it blackberry winter or false spring, but what is in a name? Just remember now is not the time to plant! Now let's get dirty!
