Blessed Poverty (Dan)

Jesus opened the Beatitudes with "blessed are the poor in spirit". Poverty of spirit isn't about lacking resources, but recognizing our complete dependence on God's grace and mercy. When we empty ourselves of pride and self-sufficiency, we create space for the Kingdom of Heaven to take root in our hearts. True spiritual blessing begins when we acknowledge our spiritual bankruptcy and fall to our knees before the throne of grace.
