In segment two Joey and Holly go over 4 proven slug control methods

1. Bring in wildlife, Many animals will naturally eat slugs and snails in the garden,
small pond bird bath bird feeders
2. Make a plant for them to live
If you have a slug problem lay board on the ground or a large piece of plywood so they slugs have a place to go during the hot part of the pay and then in the evening you can lift the board up and you will have an area of many slugs and you can get rid of them very fast by stepping on then pick them up if you have chickens they can eat them

You can pour salt on them but it can mess with your soil

When you pour salt on a snail (or slug) the water is very rapidly pulled out of the cells of the snail's body by a process called osmosis. As it dries out, the snail's body produces a slimy substance to protect itself. ... If enough salt is poured on the snail it will die of dehydration fairly quickly

3. Slug and beer there are traps you can by that have a roof on them so with it rains the beer does not have to be replaced
4. Slug pellets
Slug pellets all over their food and gardens, These are chemically based and not only can they contaminate your food, but they can also kill the wildlife you brought into the garden

Wool pellets can be used and found to be effective, slugs are are bothered by itchy, rough wool They don’t like climbing over the coarse texture. Slug Gone pellets are made from natural wool that’s been compressed and formed into pellets. The pellets are spread around the base of susceptible plants and then watered they expand, forming a thick mat of wool that slugs refuse to climb over.
5. Copper tape you have to add a 9 v batter to that to give them a shock We do not recommend this as it can be a hassle to get it all set up and keep it working
