His first love was basketball. In fact, he came to the United States from the Middle East, to pursue his dreams of competing on the hard wood for years to come. It was shortly after arriving here though, that his dreams and goals hit a bump in the road.
Hear about what happened to Johnny Kousa when his dreams shifted after being cut from the basketball team in his high school. Johnny took his talents to the gridiron, where he had to learn an entirely new vocabulary and terminology. But his athleticism was able to be transferred to the football field where he could be a dominant force and make his way to the college level for the sport.
