Joel York founded the Blue Collar Club to help raise funds for various Boise State athletic programs. They have a goal of getting their number of donors to 10,000, and on the show today you're going to learn all about what this all entails.
Each donation goes a long way. It can be as small as $10 a month or even just a one-time donation. But Joel will explain just how much needs to be donated for a student athlete to cover their books for a semester, and various other costs that go into being a student athlete at Boise State University.
With this interview, the hope is you will share this with others around you. Part of being part of the Blue Collar Club is you get to have a network and community of Boise State fans around you! It's bigger than simply "putting your money out there."
Listen in as Joel will explain it all to you on the meetups they do as a club, as well as the fun things that go on with the donations as well!
Please share with ANY Bronco fan. This isn't something that is specific to alumni of the University. Rather it's for anyone who would like to contribute!
You'll notice how big time programs (which we talk about) get a lot of their funding, and that's through donations. And while some of those donations could be larger amounts, they also have THOUSANDS of smaller donations coming in from various individuals.
