Surprised by Jesus: Matthew

This Sunday we continue our series "Surprised by Jesus," taking a look at Jesus calling Matthew, a tax collector, and choosing to eat with tax collectors and sinners, the most despised in the Jewish community. Rather than the severity and judgment we might expect from a sovereign God, we see Jesus running to those who are broken and needy even while they are still sinners.
