Praying Through the Psalms: Psalm 27

This Sunday we’re beginning our summer sermon series, “Praying through the Psalms”! Jordan will be kicking us off by looking at Psalm 27. “This Psalm of David contains some of my favorite verses found in the book of Psalms. But if we look at the full context of the song, we see that David is not in a good place; he has enemies seeking his life. This may be difficult for us to relate to. As we learn to pray Psalm 27, we'll see the Psalmist wants us to shift our focus away from our problems and on to the Lord.”
