Politics & The Book of Mark

We're pausing our 'Now What?' sermon series to acknowledge the political goings-on in our country right now. Stan will look at the upside down Kingdom of God in the book of Mark and ask us to examine how we try to solve our problems through the world's methods. The world seeks power through politics, wealth through hoarding, & leadership through domination. But Jesus's life shows power that comes from surrendering to the cross, wealth that comes from giving away, & leadership that comes through being a servant.
