Life, Death, and Resurrection: Death

This Sunday we continue our series leading up to Easter looking at Jesus' dependence on the Holy Spirit in his life, death, and resurrection. Today we inspect what Jesus' death says about him. This is the story of a person who has entered fully into our particular human experience to the utmost, and who, out of love, forfeited the most precious thing God has given to those who bear His image: His animating, energizing Spirit, the breath that gives life to all of creation.
