🥓🥩🍗 We all know meat is delicious (sorry, vegans) 🥓🥩🍗

But did you know meat production and pastoralism is one of the big polluters when it comes greenhouse gas emissions? Thanks in some part from livestock burps (not farts).

To solve this puzzle, there are many solutions to produce the meat and protein an hungry world needs without the excess amount of methane that more livestock can produce. This includes plant based proteins, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry and lab grown meat.

Today's guest, James McWalter from Carbotnic is passionate about lab grown meat. Brought up on an organic farm in Ireland, and has spent time as a butcher. James now heads a startup in New York City that focuses on Lab Grown Meat. Here we discuss lab grown meat and the future of food.
