David Schneider from Lit Protocol joins us on board the Good Ship SS Tomorrow, where he discusses the mission of making the internet a better place for all by focusing on digital ownership and decentralised web technologies. Lit Protocol is a distributed key management network that enables programmable signing and encryption without a central controller.

The development of web-free technology is progressing, but it is an infrastructural problem that requires building abstraction layers for easier application development. The concept of user-owned data is gaining importance, allowing individuals to have control and consent over their data. The future of the space depends on the pace of AI development, the growth of decentralised finance, and real-world asset tokenization.
