You may be right now familiar with the metaverse. The metaverse is a future world in which you can be anything you want, do anything you want, and be with anyone you want. The first version of this world is virtual reality and the second version is augmented reality. Nonetheless, there is another realm within the metaverse you may not have thought about: tactile tech or touching digital objects.
So what is haptics?
- Haptics is touch feedback through the use of vibrational or tactile cues, which are used to convey information about the device and its interaction with the user.
