Sirus Foxkey had long ago given up thinking he would win his fight against the darkness hiding beneath Murkwood. To say he was failing was an understatement. It was a failure that could be remedied with one simple letter. A letter summoning his daughter, a Foxkey by birthright, from St.Louis and back to his small town.

He had sent her away for a reason, he loved her more than anything on this earth. Now he had to decide: call her back and save Murkwood, if not the world, or let her carry on living her life ignorant of what lay in the shadows, as she had been for all her life. 

Unfortunately, it would be a decision made for him.
