I first got to know Ryan Sparks when he contacted me regarding contributing to Fly Culture Magazine.
He lives  and breathes life with a fly rod in his hand and has fished across the US at times fishing 300 days a year.
He is also Editor in Chief of Strung Magazine and we get the chance to talk about what goes into producing a magazine in a behind the scenes and totally open look from both of us.
