The global car rental market was estimated to be $85 Billion in 2019.

The car rental market shrunk to $58 Billing in 2020, due to the pandemic. However, the global car rental market is expected to bounce back and grow to an estimated $150 Billion in 2027. Some of the key players are Avis Budget Group, Hertz Group, and Enterprise Holdings. Now that there are alternatives to the traditional car rental market, average everyday people can now gain access to this market to start a side hustle or a full-time business.
