Many of us have been hard wired to believe that we need to put everyone else's needs first. We’ve been hard wired to believe that this is what we have to do in order to be a good wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, human, etc. I know this was the case for me and for most of the women in my life.
In fact, I did everything I could to be a good human. I worked harder. I did better. I did my best to take care of others and to try and do what made them happy. And yet, all the while I was mystified.
If I was such a good human, then why?
Why was nobody ever giving back to me the way I was giving to them?
Why was everyone around me excelling and being recognized for everything they did, while I was being left behind, unseen and unheard, to clean up the hot mess?
Why was I filled with so much anger and resentment at the end of the day?
Until I made one decision that would change everything. The decision to put myself first.
That’s why on this episode of TheFemmeCast, I am going to share with you how I finally made the decision to put myself first. And the actions I took to back up that decision. In my work. In my relationships. And in my life. And how quickly this same decision can transform your life, if you finally commit to it.

Then you’re going to want to listen to this episode.
