• Discipline with gentleness to avoid exasperating your children
• Ask more questions than you give answers to empower critical thinking
• Guide children through decisions rather than making all choices for them
• Bless your children with affirming words and demonstrate love consistently
• Understand that daughters especially need to hear they are beautiful and worthy of love
• Remember that God delights over you and dances over you with joy—model this for your children
