How DO you parent in a social media age? Family Disciple Me founder Tosha Williams and her husband Senior Pastor Kelly Williams logged on to social media for the first time at the end of 2010 - - - when their oldest child had just turned 13. And thus started social media in their family. The Williams began learning the power, possibilities and problems of social media, while they were simultaneously learning how to raise teenagers. (That’s what they call overwhelming!)
They wish we knew back then what they know now, a decade later. But, in this podcast, Senior Pastor Kelly Williams shares the first of this two-part message series called "Parenting in a Social Media Age." He calls on parents and the older generation to engage kids, protect them and challenge them when it comes to social media. Wherever you are in the parenting journey, whether you have littles who have not yet held devices or elementary kids, middle schoolers or teenagers, listen in as Kelly speaks some profound wisdom about how to parent in a social media age.
