Just weeks before contracting COVID-19 himself, David led his annual Peer-to-Peer Professional Conference in Austin, Texas.

Hundreds of charity professionals from around the world came together to discuss the latest trends on how to empower people like us to make an impact.

Of course nobody predicted what would happen with the coronavirus.

In this interview, David shares his insights on how the charity landscape has been changing already, how COVID is both a major challenge and catalyst for more needed change, and how some things-- the fundamentals-- never change.

This is also the FIRST interview I have recorded that was not in person on a walk or a run.
