One-on-One: Paul 'The Esk' Quinn

On this first one-on-one podcast since we re-branded to Evertonia, Lyndon speaks with the artist formerly known only as The Esk to chat about Everton and the state of the game in general. In the discussion on this episode they touch on his background as an Evertonian before reflecting on how the club navigated the takeover saga at the end of Farhad Moshiri’s reign as owner and what impact the Independent Football Regulator might have on preventing situation like the one the Blues went through from happening again. They talk about the club’s more optimistic outlook now under the Friedkin Group, the summer transfer window and the Toffees’ prospects for the season. And, finally, Paul gives his take on the health of the game in general and whether he thinks there is a way to shift the focus back on the fans rather than big business.
